About Trafford Cottage
Trafford Cottage is a three-bedroom home in The Oval on Kingswood Golf Estate, George. It accommodates six guests and sits beside a park with a jungle gym.
Bedrooms and bathrooms: the main bedroom has a queen bed, full en-suite and garden access. Two further bedrooms each have a double bed and share a full bathroom. The lounge also has a queen-size sleeper couch; any additional guest allocation must be confirmed before booking. Linen, bath towels and a hair dryer are provided.
Living and amenities: open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge with a wood-burning fireplace, DStv and indoor braai. The equipped kitchen and scullery include a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The home has a fenced garden, secure parking and remote-control double garage. Wi-Fi uses prepaid data bundles on request; confirm access and costs before arrival.
Family requests: small pets require prior approval. A baby bath, high chair, travel cot and babysitter recommendations can be requested, subject to availability.
Stay arrangements: check-in is from 15:00 and checkout by 10:00. The usual minimum is two nights; five to seven nights may apply during peak periods or special events. Confirm current rates, golf arrangements, cleaning fees and arrival instructions.
Estate guidelines: no parties, indoor smoking or unregistered visitors. Quiet hours are 22:00–08:00. Use designated walking routes and keep off fairways during play. Kingsgate is available by phone or WhatsApp.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to roam about on the estate during their stay. However, steering clear from fairways to avoid mishaps with golf balls in play is strongly advised and will be strictly enforced by security personnel in the event of a complaint.
For golfers, undoubtedly the 18 hole Sally Little signature golf course designed by Danie Obermeyer is the prime attraction. All our playing guests are treated to special discounted green fees for the duration of their stay.
Apart from golf, leisure activities that can be enjoyed are bird watching, jogging, walking or cycling along the Riverine Trail… all in a setting of breathtaking, natural beauty!
The clubhouse restaurant offers excellent coffee, breakfast and lunch options and are also open on Tuesday nights for a fun Quiz evening (6-8 pm) and on Friday evenings for dinner (bookings essential for both).
Hence, whether traveling for relaxation, nature, cuisine, art, attractions, shopping, local experiences, recreational activities or work, George and rest of the Garden Route is without a doubt the destination of choice.
Other things to note
Kingswood regulations are to be adhered to at all times (part of the access permit condition upon signing). Non compliance to any of them may result in the cancellation of the booking - guests will not qualify for reimbursement in such instances.
We encourage guests to especially show respect for permanent residents that whilst enjoying time outdoors will discontinue all noisy activities from 22h00.
Babysitter recommendations as well as a baby bath, high chair and travel crib are available on request (depending availability of course).
