Some homes ask you to tiptoe. Moxie House invites you to put the coffee on, find your favourite seat and settle in. Beneath high white timber beams, caramel leather sofas, deep plum cushions and natural wood bring warmth to the downstairs living space. Vintage film posters, bold portraits and collected objects give it a playful, cinematic personality. There is something to catch your eye in every room.

The downstairs kitchen keeps everyone close to the conversation. A long white island, curved leather bar stools and hanging filament lights make an easy meeting place for breakfast, a little holiday cooking or a chat while someone puts the kettle on. Slide open the glass doors and the living room opens towards the timber pool deck, ready for the day to move outside.

Follow the view upstairs

Upstairs, the mood shifts from warm leather to charcoal sofas, a blue patterned rug and a round glass coffee table. Colourful artwork brightens the walls, while the second kitchen and its breakfast counter keep this level relaxed and self-contained. Two kitchens and two living areas give a family or a group of friends space to come together, then find a quieter corner when they want one.

Beyond the broad windows and sliding glass doors, green fairways stretch across the outlook. Moxie House overlooks Kingswood, with fairway views and mountains beyond that make even a simple cup of coffee feel like part of the holiday. Step onto the upper patio, choose a woven chair behind the glass balustrade and let the view hold your attention for a while.

Outside is where the afternoon lingers

Lounge on the sunny deck, enjoy a glass of local wine on the patio and watch the birdlife across the greenbelt. Occasional springbok sightings add to the peaceful outlook. As the braai gets going and daylight fades, settle in for a family evening beneath the stars.

Downstairs, the swimming pool brings a bright splash of blue to the courtyard, edged by a generous timber deck and planted greenery. Take a refreshing dip, then wander back to the outdoor entertainment area while the braai gets going.

Under cover, a built-in braai and a long wooden dining table set the scene for a proper family meal. There is room around the large table for the whole family to dine together: bowls passed from one end to the other, a little friendly debate over the braai and no reason to rush the last course. Woven dining chairs, colourful hats on the wall and the easy connection to the deck make this a gathering space with as much personality as the rooms inside.

When the conversation winds down, three bedrooms offer a quieter end to the day. One king bed and two double beds accommodate up to six guests, with three bathrooms adding everyday comfort. The king bedroom pairs crisp white bedding with a dark timber headboard beneath the exposed beams; elsewhere, pale finishes, generous windows and personal touches keep the house feeling like a home.

Guests enjoy exclusive use of Moxie House, including three bedrooms, two kitchens, two living areas, the swimming pool, deck and outdoor entertainment space. The braai area and large dining table offer room for relaxed family meals.
